Greenhouse was established in 1993 with the aim of delivering a more sustainable approach to print and related services. We passionately believe that there is no compromise between a strong values based approach and commercial success. We do not need to sacrifice the planet or exploit people to achieve business success. We are a commercial organisation but we value people, the planet and profit equally.

Our journey started with promoting the benefits of recycled and sustainably sourced papers, and over the years we have introduced technologies and innovations that have led to the numerous local, regional and national awards.

Our innovative approach meant we were the first UK commercial printer to install PV Solar panels in 2005, were a national case study for HAZRED after introducing hazardous waste free colour printing in 2007 and, in 2010, were the first UK print centre to introduce a carbon calculator for printed products, giving print buyers key carbon information at the estimating stage. Our GreenTex™ wallcovering product launched in 2014 is an example of our commitment to create alternatives to PVC based products for signage and display.

The company has extended its services beyond graphic design services and commercial printing, with strategic marketing consultancy support, digital marketing services, large format printing, signage production and vehicle livery services.

The company is committed to staff development and takes a proactive stance for advancing staff skills through training. The company is very proud of the excellent reputation it has for high levels of customer service.

The Directors are qualified marketers and graphic designers and give regular talks on a variety of topics around the subject of sustainable development as well as innovations in marketing, digital marketing and graphic communications.
